Hi Scott !
In a word… WOW! These photos are truly exceptional. We absolutely love every single one. Now… indulge me for a sec….. as you may have noticed from the moment we met, my emotions are always on my sleeve… I say what I mean and I show what I feel.
Always…so here goes.
Looking through the pictures, I’m not sure how you managed it, but it seems like you are everywhere, all at once. You must have moved like a stealthy ninja, omnipresent yet un-noticed! … and You did it! You have exceeded both of ours hopes and expectations, but especially mine… which admittedly were very, very high. I’m so critical of photos and of photographers. I know what I like, and I know what I want and so I knew it would be difficult for us to find someone that could not only capture the feelings of all the moments, but do so in a way exactly as I would do it, had I been able to capture my own wedding. With instant cameras and iphones capable of high res images, everyone calls themself a photographer. It’s a bunch of crap in my opinion… but… I digress
…because that’s not you.
You have a talent, a gift that goes well beyond being able to expertly use a camera. It is something that, in my opinion, can’t be learned and cant be taught. It is also something that can’t easily be described. Some call it composition, some may just say you have a good eye… its more than that. And as a photographer….actually as a person, you either have it or your don’t.
You have it, and as we sit here and repeatedly relive the best day of our lives through your images, we are very very grateful.

Scott did an outstanding job capturing our special day, we loved how he was able to bring out the best in every moment. Fantastic person and is such a pleasure to work with! As hobbyist photographers ourselves, we don't often get a chance to be in front of the camera so this felt like new territory for us, but Scott made us very comfortable and guided us every step of the way. 10/10!!

Scott singlehandedly got better coverage of our wedding than I would've expected from a whole team of photographers. I was blown away by how well he captured all the key moments, while also maximizing opportunities for candids with us and our guests. He was full of creative ideas, but never pushy and always respectful of what we wanted. I also really appreciated how easy he was to communicate with, both over email and during in-person meetings. Could not love our photos more or recommend him highly enough!

Scott was the perfect choice for our wedding. We felt a connection from our first chat: he listened to what we were looking for, was open to exploring ideas together, and made us feel immediately at ease. We initially were interested in working with Scott because he seemed strong in documentary-style candids as well as portraits. And, boy: did he deliver. He was somehow everywhere, capturing every important moment, while being completely unobtrusive at the same time. Our guests have told us that the photos are the best wedding photos they’ve ever seen - and we completely agree! Scott was an absolute pleasure to work with and we cannot recommend him highly enough.

Scott was our wedding photographer and we could not be happier with the photos. I love his candid shots that he took through the event from the prep time, to the ceremony, to the cocktail hours, to the speeches, the reception, details of the decor were all awesome!! we got a good mix of black and white and coloured photos which was something we were looking for. He also took great photos of our guests and I can’t wait to print and share them because they capture them laughing, dancing and having a great time. Scott was very accommodating with my request for specific photoshops with the way my veil looked and I very much appreciated that. Like any other bride, looking back some aspects of the weddings were not perfect but Scott made it look flawless with his photos, leaving us with only the happy memories. I recommend Scott for all weddings and any event.

Scott was our photographer at our wedding in August 2022 at Bodega Ridge - he was amazing! Scott was relaxed and easy going and made the day super fun. He was literally everywhere - so many candid photos of us and our friends and family at all points throughout the day. We got our photos back quickly and we’re so happy with them. They are exactly what we were hoping for, he captured the magic of the day perfectly. We can’t recommend Scott enough!!

Scott was, hands down, one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. If you are thinking of hiring him, do it! We absolutely love our photos and cannot believe how many he was able to deliver in the short time we hired him for. Not only was he incredibly professional & kind, but he was also just a friendly and fun guy to have around. He has a unique eye and produced some really creative and artistic shots that we love. Some of my favourite photos were his candid shots that really show the feeling of our wedding. We love our photos so much and would definitely recommend him. Scott did a phenomenal job on our wedding this past June. He captured so many wonderful moments of my husband and I, but most importantly of all of our guests who attended our wedding. My bridesmaids and family all commented on how hard he was working - literally running around the room - to get the shots that he did. And on top of all that, he's a lovely guy. Would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a wedding photographer.

Scott is absolutely INCREDIBLE!! We would give him 10 stars if we could! After searching through 80+ photographers in the Lower Mainland we hired him for our wedding last summer and feel it was 100% the best vendor decision we made. His shots stopped me dead in my search as the quality of his work is that of a true artist. Scott is incredibly talented. He doesn’t just take photos, he captures the moments, feelings, and emotions of the day in beautiful ways that still make us break into the biggest smiles (even after looking at them over 100 times).
His presentation literally blew us away, and the communication and timing of getting our photos back was perfect. And just wait until you meet him. Scott is so friendly, polite, professional and an absolute joy to work with. He was our most commented-on vendor - everyone thinks his work was amazing and really enjoyed his presence on the day (especially my mom, who wouldn’t let him leave without a dance!).
Scott consistently went above and beyond to capture incredible images of us and our guests. It felt like he was in 10 places at once the entire day yet I barely saw him! My husband and I completely agree with a previous review here that he is an absolute ninja. He will work tirelessly to capture the greatest moments of the best day of your life. Where do I even start - I really can't recommend Scott enough. He was truly the most genuine and talented wedding photographer we could have hoped for. When we had to reschedule our wedding due to COVID, and re-book an intimate wedding in Vancouver, it was daunting to find all new vendors without the opportunity to meet face-to-face. From our first phone call with Scott, we knew we wanted to work with him. He understood that were looking for all the special moments of our day to be captured in an authentic documentary style. When he arrived the morning of the wedding, even though we'd never met, I was immediately at ease. Throughout the day he worked seamlessly to capture every angle, and was almost invisible! When we got our photos we couldn't believe how many shots he had captured, many when we didn't even know he was there! I love watching our photo slide show and reliving the day. He returned all our photos to us within 6 weeks which is unheard of. If you need a photographer in the Vancouver area, look no further. Scott is truly a gem.

Scott has a five-star rating for a reason. He is a true professional, and was so lovely to work with as we planned and replanned our 2020 wedding, and then ultimately decided to elope. Throughout the whole process, Scott was quick to respond and easygoing. We were so pleased that he was able to shoot our intimate wedding, and the photos he captured were outstanding. We really couldn’t be happier and we won’t hesitate to book Scott again if we need a photographer in the future.

You spend a lot of time with the photographer on your wedding day, and Scott was a real joy to have with us and to have capture those special moments.

PS. A fun moment was when my wife and I were dancing and Scott literally ran a circle around us taking photos to capture all angles of the lovely moment. So great!

Scott was one of the best parts of our wedding. He was super organized and took charge of where to go and what to do in order to get the best photographs. He coordinated with our driver, our guests and family. He gave us great direction, but also knew when to hang back and let things unfold naturally. He managed to capture our wedding perfectly and add to it as well. The day befor the wedding he went out and scouted locations at the exact time he was going to shoot so he knew what the light was like. He got some really great shots that we will treasure for a long time. It also looked like he had a good time with everyone involved and his energy contributed to the fun.
Scott was also super flexible...there were many last minute changes and requests we had for him and he just went with the flow. We heard so many positive comments after the wedding about Scott and Jimi. Highly recommend Scott for any occasion.

We gave Scott a tough assignment and he smashed it out of the park! Our wedding ticked all boxes for difficult photography: raining, extreme wind warning, and low light (in a forest at dusk)... Scott delivered a fantastic set of photos and a slideshow which make us teary to just think about! Perfect for sharing with family and friends who couldn't be there and no doubt lots of reminiscing in the years to come. He is also a lovely, laidback bloke who blended into the background and got the job done with no intrusion... impressive given that he was one of just ten people there! : ) 10/10!

Scott was amazing to work with, and obviously very talented with a keen eye for great shots! He was very easy to communicate with, easy going, and flexible and down for anything when it came to locations and angles. We shared our thoughts on the different areas that we might like to have photos taken, and he took it upon himself to go there early the day of and scout them out for himself, while also suggesting other great spots as well.
We were VERY happy with all the shots we got back, and will definitely keep him in mind for any future events or celebrations!

Scott was incredible - one of the best decisions we made was hiring Scott as our photographer for our wedding. The photos are unreal. Scott suggested a great place for us to do our "first look" and take photos with the wedding party and the photos turned out really beautiful. Scott somehow managed to be everywhere, he was really hustling to make sure he got photos of everyone. Scott captured all the moments - you can feel the emotion just looking at the photos. Everyone who has seen our photos has commented on how beautiful the photos are. Also just a really nice guy!

We hired Scott on in September 2018 to act as our wedding reception photographer and were completely blown away with what he was able to capture! His photos are beautiful and he is a total photo ninja! He will catch moments you didn't event realize had happened by being here, there and everywhere all at once!
